Increasing Creativity and Innovation

Are you looking for ways to ignite creativity and innovation in your organization? Harnessing the creativity of individuals and teams is   vital to the success of  today’s most successful organizations.

A 2010 IBM study of 1,500 Chief Executive Officers from 60 countries and 33 industries worldwide revealed that CEO’s believe creativity - more than rigor, management discipline, integrity or even vision – is the key leadership competency for the future. Research points to many tangible revenue gains that can be achieved by tapping the creative and innovative ideas within employee groups.

Research shows that creative organizations have a competitive advantage. So how do you bring creativity and innovation to your workplace?

This informative and interactive session; led by Jim Gort, Management Program Director at Davenport University; encourages you to explore practical ways for increasing creativity and innovation. You will learn how to apply those concepts to your current business operations; to become more competitive, productive and profitable in the market place.

Using direct examples, Jim will present the following:

Problem solving models and creativity techniques

Facilitator-led group case study that provides vivid concept application

How to dramatically increase new idea generation by focusing on selection of the ‘best’ solution to pursue

You will leave this session feeling energized and eager to immediately apply what you have learned to your daily interactions.
